In Matthew 24, Jesus gives His disciples a sobering yet hopeful message. He warns them about coming trials - false teachers, wars, disasters - but reminds them these are only the beginning. The heart of Jesus's teaching is this: stay alert and live ready. No one knows the exact day or hour of His return except God the Father, so our calling is to serve faithfully, keep watch diligently, and trust that God's plan will unfold perfectly. It is not meant to scare us, but to prepare us.
