Today, Pastor Ted set aside our Revelation study for Palm Sunday and focused on Jesus' triumphal entry in the Jerusalem, as described in Matthew 21:1-11. He emphasized the significance of His mission and the expectations of the people at that time. It draws parallels between the leadership qualities modeled by Jesus and the responsibilities of men today to lead with compassion and integrity. Pastor Ted highlighted that while the crowds expected Jesus to overthrow their oppressors, His true mission was to fulfill God's plan for salvation through His suffering and sacrifice on the cross. This serves as a call for all individuals to follow Jesus' example in their own lives, to lead with love and service, and to understand the deeper implications of faith.
